could pumped it to higher clock speeds, but settled here. currently checking its stability before i'll go further. think i'll settle here, dun wanna blow up the whole thing. here's the specs:
of course, im not stopping here. im gonna swap this 1 with a 2.66GHz(still a single core) processor n overclock it. my target would be ~3GHz. probably more. its gonna heat up a lot so i have this in my arsenal:
its a heatsink n fan combo i got from bargaining with a computer shop owner who said its broken. changed a blown transistor, removed a resistor n shorted out the thermistor. orginal rating for this is DC 12v 0.6A, but now, DC 12v 1.7A. difference? i can shread papers with its fan like hot knife through butter. n chopped my fingernails in the process. when attached to the heatsink, it goes from room temperature to 13 degrees celcius in 14 seconds!
gonna go buy some heatsink compound or coolant paste as u may call it tmr.

i quited the job. ok, not me quiting technically. my dad got enough n called my boss himself. i didnt get mad. after screwing up so much i'd better b lucky my boss didnt cut my pay. so now i end up with no job. which translate into TOO MUCH FREE TIME!
tried to burn the time off. books, math, tv(not working as well as it did 2 months ago. yeah, havent watched tv in 2 months), computers, electronics... u name it. n im not occcupied in any of them. mostly juz either i got bored or i finished too fast. the math part i only understood the 1st chapter n half of the 2nd. given up, let the teacher do the work.
this is odd, did i accidentally flipped on the 'start-being-depressed' button in my brain? this isnt the kind of holiday i've been expecting. ok, the tokun part is, the rest is more or less a tragic history. so no, im not happy.
gonna replay GunZ. havent did tat since....wat? 4 months ago? n 1.7GHz is realy gonna let me down... i'll try.

talking bout exams, this aint look like an exam, candidates dont behave like ppl who came for an exam, n they dont even care bout it! ppl who came half an hour after the exam has started gets to go to his seat n begin, ppl chatting, sms, even eating sweets! n the worst thing is, its all malay guys in the exam hall!
there's an exhibition there bout armateur radios. they have stalls selling tranceiver, antennas, adaptors...etc. wishing to own 1 rite now....
hey, n guess wat. chung lin from penang(not butterworth) sent his 'platoon' for exams. turns out jit sin's not the only 1 getting the offer by motorola. there's actually 3 schools in pulau pinang which gets them. n they have a coach n we dont! 30 scouts from the school registered for the exam n is taught by a real ham(another term for amateur radio operator)! his call sign 9W2POH. this is not fair at all. is the jit sin admin's really supporting this offer or just merely 应酬? besides, the coach says he's not charging the schools for teaching. hear tat? not a penny! guess JSHS elecs is getting pushed out of the picture.
