didnt post a new year post

well.. was busy at the time. working with junlin tat day. till 3am to b exact. yesterday too.. worked till 3am  bsc Tanjung Express over-over-over-over-over-over timed. reached home at 4am. woke up at 7 miraculously, but sored all over. n went back to sleep at 9, waking up at 3. skipped breakfast n lunch... wat a messed up day.

the 1st thing i did was fixing my pc. got some boot problem since the day i bought it. n now its fixed. still a bit stupid, i overclocked it... n viola... comparison of results

the good news and the bad news

the Nvidia 8800 is not coming today. probably have to wait till after NS.

good news.

the card is a Nvidia 8800 GTX. oh it gets better, im gonna get 2 of them!! get two of them and i can link them together in SLI! COOL!!!

again, this thing is a major energy eater. a single card takes in bout 200 watts while idle and 330 watts on load. i only got a Cooler Master 500W power supply.. which isnt quite enough to run both of these things. so, im also gonna get a 1000W PSU!!!

and it keeps coming. im also gonna get a pair of corsair DDR2 Rams... which variant n details im still not sure but it beats nothing at all

to cap this off... im also gonna get a Asus mainboard. this time its a board similar to the Asus Striker series but without the fancy feature to make this just a notch below the Asus Striker in terms of performance.

1. Yinjou screwed up his new laptop
2. got Resident Evil 4 PC version... currently played till Castle. man those cult idiots are annoying
3. torrenting of Assassin's Creed 2 is complete. credits to Deluge for being such a good bittorrent client. NOOB STREAMYX!!!
4. played Assassin's Creed 2, not even halved the game yet so i dunno... also, the Nvidia 8800 isnt here yet so im playing it with low setting for everything. yet, even with low setting, the game is already beautiful...
5. ppl again tell me to make a facebook account...
6. got really good songs from DJX(junlin), its so big that i spent 2 days sorting them out and merging them with my existing ones. special thanks to DJX!

as usual.. bored.. tried to finish the original Crysis today but my crap of a pc cant take it and keep memory crash.

but no matter! cause a saviour will reveal itself! my-grandfather's-brother's-son(i dunno the calling in english) is getting married, so i think he's preparing to get matured and gives out his toys(my definition for gaming gears). And I am lucky enough to get a Nvidia 8800! I dunno it's 8800 GTX, GTS or GT... but I do wish it's a GTX. he, on the other hand, is getting a Nvidia 580.. damm, that thing would be on top of my christmas list.
This... is the beast of the beasts. currently one of the fastest cards in the world. One of them would cost over RM1300.


My upcoming Nvidia 8800. this is the GTX  version, which is the one im hoping to get. although there is an Ultra version, but that one isnt cost effective... due next week

scouts got camping.. so that's a valid excuse to go overnight at school. almost everyone's here, well, almost.

sooner or later.. electronics club is gonna become an internet cafe or something. also, the prefects are up to their tradition of last minutes. they only informed us that they need sound system today. screw them.

1. ranked up to 2nd Lt. 1st Class in AVA
2. switched clans from Creampie to Naughty
3. went on 2 hopeless trip to Penang
4. finished Assassin's Creed
5. finished Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
6. finished Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the 4th time
7. finished Crysis: Warhead
8. finished Red Alert 2 for the 3rd time
9. found lots of videos by L4Snow... i'll show you guys some sometime
10. and did totally nothing

Hacking the hotel wifi has never been this fun!

Lol. At Bayview hotel in Penang. The hotel wifi security is so dam cheap. Yet they would charge us 10 bucks if we request for the password for just 30 minutes of online time. Stupid management... Guess tats wat tourism got to offer.

N no, the trip isn't fun at all. This is majorly mom demanding family time trip. As usual, it's boring. The only thing I get to really do is swim n walk around the place.

Not gonna talk bout the exam. It's not worth talking bout since we're all gonna know bout it three months later.

Next on my list of events is NS. Whici my mom plans to have me skip it for a trip to thailand.if it wasn't Thai, it would b college. Which neither fits me because I wanted to go to NS.

Bored, n woke up at six. Not a good sign, I don't usually wake up at six during no school period....
